Mental Performance Approaches
-
Prior to our first appointment, you will fill out intake paperwork, which we will briefly go over in your first session. I will get to know you at a comfortable pace by asking you some questions pertaining to your sport and personal history. This is just the start of our work together, so getting to know each other will occur over the course of our time together.
Ideally, in those first or second sessions, we will determine a path towards addressing your mental performance concerns. This typically entails practicing skills discussed and taught in sessions, outside of session in your everyday life. We will review those skills, and address any implementation questions or issues. It takes time for us to find what works for you, as skills are not just copy and paste!

During our initial conversation, I’ll get to know you and your needs for your team. We will discuss strengths and growth points in order to find what areas I can support in. I will then talk to or survey the team independently to learn about where they consider their strengths and growth points to be, before fully formulating a plan. Using all of the input, I will create a workshop plan to address any team concerns. Topics can include: team building, communication, team culture, confidence, cohesion, etc.
I also offer 1:1 sessions with athletes when working with teams. If this is something you’re interested in providing, I work with the athlete to determine their needs and frequency of sessions.
Prices vary depending on your package (ie, in person workshops v virtual, attendance at games/practices, length of season, athlete sessions).

Sport psychology/mental skills consulting is not covered by insurance, so all sessions would be self-pay. 50 minute sessions are $150, and anything over 50 minutes is $165.
As a Certified Mental Performance Consultant (CMPC), I take a holistic approach to working with athletes and teams, recognizing that performance is deeply connected to the whole person—mind, body, and identity beyond sport. I strive to be a true teammate in the process, creating a supportive space where athletes can explore challenges, develop mental skills, and grow both on and off the field. Whether in 1:1 sessions or team workshops, I focus on building confidence, resilience, and cohesion while addressing the pressures, setbacks, and identity shifts that come with sport. By collaborating with athletes and coaches, I help cultivate a strong team culture that prioritizes both performance and well-being.
